A new compact controller board for NewSpace

The Compact Controller Board CCBu20-NS is the New Space version of the CCBu20. The CCBu20-NS inheritates from the dual axis piezo controller CCBu20 as regards its main electronic functions and performances: each control axis includes a 170Vpp 35 mArms linear amplifier, a strain gage conditioner, and a closed-loop control, compliant with a push-pull mode.

The main differences compared to the standard CCBu20 are additional features dedicated to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) space applications: The CCBu20-NS is designed to withstand space environment, especially radiations, vibrations with high reliability, for up to 5 years. It can be supplied with 20~30V non regulated isolated voltage.

The controller includes several telemetry and telecommand (TM/TC) interfaces for a better observability during missions as well as a fast SPI bus for the communication.

The CCBu20-NS is intended for controlling DTT, P-FSM, XY mechanisms or even single APA® or PPA actuators from CTEC, inside small satellites, typically for optical communication terminals or optical telescopes.
